2024 – Civil security – France

Summary of the project 2024 – Civil security – France

As part of the business initiation for civil security technologies and services in France, a successful delegation trip was organized by trAIDe GmbH in cooperation with Prime Conseil from May 27 to 30, 2024. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), the project featured a comprehensive program of briefings, presentations, and B2B meetings that provided German companies with valuable insights and business opportunities in the French market.

Highlights of the event included a briefing with industry experts in Paris, a political briefing by the German Embassy, and a presentation event where the German companies showcased their technologies and services. Presentations by Pierre Marchès (Prime Conseil) on market entry in France, Dr. Frauke Schmitz-Bauerdick (GTAI) on the market situation for civil security in France, and Stéphane Comte (Neosmos) on the cybersecurity landscape attracted particular attention. Visits to Groupe ADP and Campus Cyber gave participants practical insights into the French corporate landscape.

A total of 58 B2B meetings were held during the event, leading to numerous follow-up appointments and intensive digital exchanges. The individual feedback sessions and high-level discussions enabled the German companies to gain a broader understanding of competitors and market potential, laying the foundation for strategic decisions and future investments.

This business initiation trip provided an excellent platform for the participating German companies to strengthen their position in the French market and identify new business opportunities. The event underlined the importance of intensive preparation and targeted networking activities for successful market entry and sustainable business development abroad.
