Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH seeks cooperation with qualified Singapore-based partners, fabricators, or distributors active in the defense and security sector. The preferred model includes supplying SECURE ballistic steel plates for local fabrication and integration into protective solutions. Collaboration with partners offering strong market access, project involvement, and technical competence is prioritized.
Products/Services
The company manufactures heavy carbon steel plates with thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 175 mm, lengths up to 24 meters, and widths up to 3.5 meters. A strategic focus is placed on high-value niche products rather than commodity steels, including SECURE ballistic protection steels and CO₂-reduced / green steel. The SECURE grades (e.g., SECURE 400®, 450®, 500®, 600®) are designed for ballistic and protective applications, combining high hardness with good toughness and processability. Typical applications include armored vehicles, civilian protection vehicles, ballistic building components, security doors, shelters, containers, and protective infrastructure. In addition to plate supply, semi-fabricated components such as bent or welded parts can be provided through our group network, depending on customer requirements.
Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH is part of the Salzgitter Group and operates a modern heavy plate mill in Germany.
The company focuses on the production of high-quality carbon steel heavy plates, with a strategic emphasis on advanced steel solutions for defense and security applications. Its SECURE ballistic protection steels are specifically engineered for protective uses requiring high hardness, toughness, and reliability, serving applications such as armored vehicles, ballistic structures, shelters, and security infrastructure. Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH has an established customer base in Germany and Europe and is selectively expanding into approved international markets, including Singapore.
