KOBRA VS Storage Devices
• 256-bit AES full-disk hardware encryption in XTS mode, with 2-Factor-Authentication by Smartcard ( ID Card) + PIN – Full metal housing with inside secured by epoxy resin – Fully Made in Germany, 100% designed and manufactured in Germany.
• The only hardware approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for NATO-Restricted, EU-Restricted and VS-NfD German public sector incl. military and police.
• Certified for secure mobile data access and data transport across various sectors, including government, defense, and critical infrastructure.
• The Kobra VS devices have an internal battery and are able to boot any operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS and many more) and work as a full, secure remote workplace
• Available with advanced encryption mechanisms and tamper-proof features to ensure data integrity during storage, transfer and booting OS (operating systems).

The mobile SSD/USB storage devices (16GB up to 16TB) are extremely innovative and the securest available on the global market, approved for the German public sector / army / police by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), working with a 2-factor-authentication by Smartcard (built in smartcard-reader) and PIN, also approved for NATO-Restricted and EU- Restricted.
The key for decryption and encryption is only on the smartcard, not in the device, so even in a case of device loss/theft, there is no key in the device itself, so not even a theoretical possibility of accessing the data without the smartcard combined with the PIN.
