Intended Cooperation
CENmat is seeking South Korean OEMs, system integrators, EPCs, renewable energy developers, utilities and industrial end users involved in hydrogen production and industrial decarbonisation. Priority sectors include steel, ammonia, chemicals, cement and glass, as well as companies developing hydrogen infrastructure and renewable-energy projects. The preferred market-entry model is partnership-based, focusing on technology qualification, pilot projects, licensing opportunities and local integration. CENmat aims to establish initial OEM partnerships, demonstration projects and long-term cooperation with Korean stakeholders in the hydrogen value chain.

CENmat / Cutting-Edge Nanomaterials is a German electrolyzer technology company and spin-off from the German Aerospace Centre in Stuttgart.
The company focuses on advanced materials and components for green hydrogen production, particularly AEM water electrolysis materials, PEM catalysts, catalyst-coated membranes, MEA technologies, and related engineering, licensing, maintenance and service offerings. For the South Korean market, CENmat aims to explore two complementary market-entry tracks: near-term qualification and sales discussions for water-electrolysis catalysts and catalyst-coated membranes, and strategic scale-up opportunities for its HySCALE AEM platform. The company’s market-entry approach is partnership-led and indirect, with a strong focus on Korean OEMs, stack manufacturers, component suppliers, system integrators, EPCs, hydrogen project developers and selected industrial end users.
