We are pleased to announce the successful outcome of trAIDe GmbH’s first delegation trip to the dynamic target country of Taiwan in 2024. From 14.04. to 19.04.2024, we organized an outstanding event in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) and our trusted partner, UBIK.
This five-day trip offered twelve German companies from the fields of civil security technologies and services an exceptional opportunity to present their innovative products and solutions to an interested Taiwanese audience. The target group in Taiwan included (end) customers, purchasing personnel, importers and other trade and project partners in the industry.
The extensive program began with a briefing by industry experts in Taipei, followed by a political briefing by the German Institute in Taipei. The presentation event in Taipei provided a platform for the German companies to showcase their technologies and services and make contact with potential partners. In the following days, numerous B2B meetings and visits to leading Taiwanese companies such as CHT Security, SECOM and Shin-Kong Security took place. These activities were complemented by individual feedback sessions to provide the participating companies with valuable feedback on their market strategies.
The event was a great success, as the impressive figures show: 86 B2B meetings were held and the presentation event attracted 30 guests. These intensive exchange opportunities led to early discussions about potential partnerships, creating a solid foundation for future collaboration.
Another important aspect of the trip was the direct contact with decision-makers and government authorities, which enabled the participating companies to gain potential support for their business activities and investments. The intensive exchange within the German delegation also strengthened networking and cooperation among the participating companies.
The delegation trip enabled the German SMEs to gain a broader understanding of the competitors and market potential in Taiwan. The knowledge gained forms the basis for strategic decisions and the analysis of opportunities and risks, which are crucial for future investments and measures. Initial price negotiations and discussions at the highest level created a clear basis for commercial partnerships and maximized the added value of this trip.
