As part of the manager training program, we supported managers from Georgia in establishing business relationships with German companies in 2023. The central stay in Germany took place from September 3 to 16, 2023 and focused on the manufacturing, food production and construction sectors.
The program consisted of three phases: In the online phase, participants were prepared for their business start-ups through training and advice, including targeted partner searches and intercultural training. The stay in Germany enabled the delegation from Georgia to visit selected companies and take part in B2B meetings with potential business partners. A follow-up phase and networking event deepened the relationships established.
Georgia, as a strategic gateway between Europe and Asia, offers a favorable business environment with low taxes, efficient bureaucracy and well-developed infrastructure. This year’s delegation covered a wide range of industries, with many companies interested in exporting to Germany, as well as importing or setting up joint ventures. Representatives from the manufacturing, food production and construction sectors were particularly numerous.
One remarkable success story is that of Maka Vacheishvili, commercial director of the company “Crossroad”, which is active in the field of road safety. Her goal in Germany was to import road construction materials and establish partnerships with German engineering companies. During her stay, she had two promising meetings with potential suppliers. Although no contracts have been signed yet, the first talks were positive and there is optimism for a German-Georgian cooperation in the near future.
This program offered participants the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the German economy and to establish important international business relationships. Arrange a consultation to learn more about the success of the program!
